REGISTRATION, CANCELLATIONS AND MISSED CLASSES
Metalsmithing classes are normally held afternoons and evenings, but we can usually work with everyone's needs.
You can see options for dates/times of classes on their description pages. When you're ready to sign up go to the registration form.
You must be registered to reserve a spot in class; you can pay a $75 deposit or the full fee ( incl Materials fee) to register.
If you pay the deposit, the balance of your fees is due on the first day of your class.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS:
Kay Seurat Studios reserves the right to cancel or postpone classes at any time. Cancellations may be due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely occasion that it is necessary to cancel a class, we will notify registered students by phone or email and refund/credit the full tuition amount.
When circumstances beyond the control of KSS such as weather or natural disasters occur, classes will be cancelled and a if possible, a plan to postpone will be decided upon.

COVID: State guidelines, CDC and other sources are all considered and we act according to the current best practices.
That information will be included in a message to you about a week before the beginning of your class.

WITHDRAWAL / TRANSFER FROM CLASS
Cancellations are subject to fees.

Refunds to withdraw from class:
30 days or more (before the start of the class) notice: 50% of the tuition in credit for any other class.
Under 14 days notice: NO REFUNDS, NO TRANSFERS, NO CREDIT.
If you registered with a credit card, refunds are subject to a 3.5% processing fee per transaction. A total of 7% will be deducted for refunds applied to credit cards.

Classes are not transferable to another student.

By clicking on the “Buy Now” button and by paying the registration fee, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
No Exceptions.
MISSED CLASSES
I encourage students to carefully check their schedule before registering for classes to prevent this from happening.
If a class has multiple sessions, and you miss one or are late to arrive, there is no make up opportunity and there is no time catch you up at the next class session. You may not join another scheduled class, as there’s a maximum number of students for every class and it’s not fair to the other students.

If missing a class is unavoidable and you have advance notice:
Send me a message as soon as possible - if I know far enough in advance I can sometimes coordinate with the other students to change the day or time of the class so you won't have to miss it.

If all else fails and you must miss a class without enough advance notice, I can send you the class notes to study on your own and we can schedule a make-up class for the demos and hands-on time. Fees are $45. per hour but because there is only one student it rarely takes the full 3 hours.
